On 8th March in Milan SEAF Investor Forum took place for small- and medium-sized energy services companies (ESCOs) and investors interested in energy efficiency projects. Over 100 experts from energy services companies and representing financial sector took part in the conference. Virtual Power Plant (VPPlant) was represented by its CEO – Grzegorz Nowaczewski.

SEAF Investor ForumSEAF Investor Forum was held as a part of SEAF project (the Sustainable Energy Asset Framework) a two-year Horizon 2020 funded project, biggest innovation and research financing programme in history of EU. The aim of the conference was to present eQuad platform which makes it easier for energy companies to communicate with potential clients. eQuad platform automates, on early stage, finding partners for projects increasing energy efficiency and makes it possible to find investors through eQuad Investor Network, estimated at €1.2bn in available project finance.

eQuad has already started to unlock access to finance and facilitate deal flow in the €8 billion energy efficiency market. - The eQuad beta release represents a significant milestone towards scaling energy efficiency investment. Today, through eQuad, any project owner in Europe can now reach a full range of financial resources – said Jessica Stromback, SEAF project coordinator. To make use of the tool, ESCOs can become early users of the beta version, which will run for free until January 2018. Early users will be eligible for a discounted account in 2018 following the official product launch.

- VPPlant works in the field of energy use and heat optimization in large-scale buildings and offices. Currently we are preparing to enter European market, therefore we are searching for custom and innovative  forms of acquiring clients for our services. eQuad platform can be a effective solution. I don’t deny that we might take advantage of the opportunities offered to entrepreneurs from innovative energy companies – Grzegorz Nowaczewski, CEO of VPPlant summarizes participation in Milan SEAF Investor Forum.
