We are discussing energy efficiency in buildings at Industrial Forum in Karpacz

On 8-10th of December Karpach will host the II Industrial Forum. One of the main topics of this event is energy efficiency, Virtual Power Plant company will participate in panel discussion devoted to low-energy buildings.

II Industrial Forum in Karpach will be an opportunity for a broad debate on the key issues of European industry. During the three days of discussion there will be a dozen of events: debates, plenary sessions, presentations, reports and thematic blocks. “Why countries with strong and dynamic industry were mildly affected by global economic crisis of recent years? How to reconcile climate policy with competitiveness of  European industry? In which sectors of industry should EU invest? How to create conditions to actively introduce innovations in industry? More than 700 participants of this Forum will search for answers for these questions, including representatives of largest industrial concerns, politicians, experts and economists from Central and Eastern Europe”.

During the second day of the Forum a discussion panel will be held “Energy efficient buildings – European building standards vs reality”. It seems that modern and energy efficient technologies used in buildings are commonly used in buildings all over Europe. In the west it is a norm but how does the situation look in Central-Eastern Europe? Are modern trends easily applied here? What are the plans and objectives and what is the reality?

These are the questions that Grzegorz Nowaczewski, president of Virtual Power Plant will be facing. Other panelists include Tomasz Augustyniak (CEO, Go4Energy, Polska), Adam Kleczewski (Member of th eBoard, Polskie Stowarzyszenie Budowniczych Domów, Polska), David Labardin (Vice President, VCES a.s., Czech Republic), Artur Tomczyk (CEO, SPIE Polska Sp. z o.o., Polska) and Tomasz Żuchowski (Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Infrastructure and Construction, Polska), moderator of the panel will be Jerzy Żurawski (CEO, Lower Silesia Environment and Energy Agency s.c.).
